About the Clinic:
These three three-hour sessions are designed to help participants improve basic softball skills: pitching, catching, fielding, throwing and hitting.
Demonstrations and drill sessions will be used under the guidance and instruction of the Widener staff and players.
Where:
At the Widener University Softball field off of Bullens Lane, near MacDade Blvd at the WAWA
When:
Clinics will be held on June 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2010 from 9:00 am to Noon. Registration is at 8:45 am
Who:
All girls 8 to 17 years of age who desire to improve their softball skills. We will be happy to answer questions for any parents who wish to explore any area of the game in more detail.
Please bring a full water bottle, snack, your glove and bat.

The DelVal Youth Softball League is proud to endorse Caitlin Chandler as a hitting and pitching coach for private lessons and group lessons.
Caitlin is available for private/group hitting and pitching lessons and clinics. Caitlin was the Varsity Head Softball Coach at Friends Central School from 2004-2007. She started pitching at the age of 12 and continued through high school and college.
Caitlin has worked for Courtney Hankes McGovern at her pitching clinics and at her summer skills camps.
Caitlin played in the DelVal Youth League from the age of 12. She now plays in the DelVal Youth Women's Fast Pitch League.
She was a 4 year starter for Slippery Rock University where she was a two year captain. In her sophomore and junior years, she excelled offensively and was ranked in the top 15 by PSAC for batting average and toughest to strike-out. She excelled as a hitter and a top pitcher.
